Wow, tons of functionality. Great app. I really like how easy it is to put things on the calendar on the phone.

OK, first up, the Watford win clinches them a top-six finish. The top eight is now split between the top 4 and 5-to-8. The only reasonable switch-around is for Derby to catch 'Boro. (Derby is now seven behind Norwich and Watford.) Big game in the top-4 is Norwich -v- Boro on Friday. And the second-8 has Wolverhampton -v- Ipswich in the early game Saturday. The seemingly inconsequential draw of Fulham -v- Rotherham does have a lot of repercussions in the relegation battle (again, assuming the Rotherham 1-0 BaHA result stands, but there seems to be worries in the Rotherham camp): Fulham now can't be caught by Wigan. Rotherham is now eight points above Wigan, so now Wigan must get three wins instead of 2W and 1D. (Milwall, despite being five behind Rotherham, still has one extra game to play.)
and one last point for the relegation, of the seven teams still open for the last two releg' spots, there are two matches between them. Ironically, the two games involve Rotherham and BaHA, and those two still might have to have a replay between them: Sat, Apr 18, 3:00 PM ENG time, Wigan Athletic -v- Brighton and Hove Albion Tue, Apr 28, 7:45 PM ENG time, Rotherham United -v- Reading
I know some people who follow Derby County, so I've adopted that team. Still stinging from the playoff final loss last year. Also stinging from falling out of first place earlier this season to being "in the muck" for a playoff spot.
That could get spicy with four teams who could potentially get that spot. Forest has Ipswich and Cardiff. How about you guys?
Bournemouth promoted to the Premier League, wow. It seems like only yesterday that both our clubs were starting the League Two season on -17pts.
In 2008/09 both us and Bournemouth started the League Two season on -17pts for entering into administration, we finished the season in 14th place and Bournemouth 21st. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008–09_Football_League_Two
Watford and Bournemouth going to the big dance next year. I think I'd like Ipswich or Middlesbrough to join them.
How come the 17 point penalty was bigger than what Portsmouth got when they entered administration and were relegated from the Premier League?
I've just looked I'm not sure why Portsmouth only got -9pts it's probably because the Premier League is a separate entity to the rest of the Football League. In the Football League -10pts is the usual punishment for going into administration and that's what Portsmouth got in their 2011/12 Championship season, both us and Bournemouth had already gone into administration and got a 10pts deduction the season before, so the the -17pts was for a second offence in such a short space of time.
