    My interpretation:

    Le-Mo: Lee Morrison
    C-Bus: Carl Bussey

Bussey: great pace and good size for his position(s).

Morrison: slow and undersized for his position.

Le-Mo was a good college back who got buy on smarts but he isn't that vast and he's barely 6-0, if that, and most teams want bigger center backs.

Of the 2, I'm not surprised that Bussey is still in the league and Morrison isn't. Bussey is a tremendous athlete and while he may never blossom, his potential makes him one to risk keeping around.

Morrison, on the other hand, what you saw was what you got.

For sure. In addition to being all-district in soccer at Plano East, Carl was an all-state running back and holder of the school's long jump and football rushing records.

Think 3rddegree had bet a 'cola' with someone(i think it was our 'schemer' Scipio, because anyone else would probably have said 'coke') over who would make the roster, Bussey or Morrison.

    Buzz won.

    Thanks.

I wouldn't bet against Buzz, myself.

Well at least Lee Morrison got a good gig with the Seattle Sounders or Portland Timbers. It was with one or the other. Not bad places to play soccer for.

    The wager was as follows.
Lee Morrison would be on the roster.
    Carl Bussey would not.
I took this bet because Lee Morrison, I agree, got by on samrts. Morrison had good size, understood the position, and was a high draft pick. Somebody who was at Tulsa trell me you rather have started Bussey ot outside right than Morrison in the middle and Suarez outiside. Anybody? Bussey is not ready to play.

My honor remains. Buzz, how about a soda that comes in an oil can and reads "Bitter" on the side.

Scipio, virtuous and pure, never imbibes of any soft drink not made by the Coca-Cola Company. Why settle for second best?
