Finally some good news and good signings come our way. I really hope we start using our resources more wisely. We have some players we can offer to get players we want. Joseph Espinosa, Jefferson Arce, Jefferson Troya would be some players we could trade or offer to pick up some better players in the league.

Trading Rodriguez for Hoyos was a pretty decent move. Hoyos is a player that could do well In any top team in Ecuador tbh. Him Lopez, and Heras and Ortiz are decent considering the situation we are in. I hope to see us pick up just a few more players. Robert Burbano, Sergio Quintero, Jefferson Orejuella, Joffre Monroy, Andy Velasco and Jhon Santacruz.

Ortiz is a really good pickup for Liga. One of the best moves a team has made so far imo. He's young and talented but still has room for growth. We'll see how he performs playing for a bigger club. Liga was a better fit for him than bsc. I would have liked to see a midfield duo of Carcelen and Ortiz but Bustos would have probably gone with some combination of Piñatares, Carcelen, and Molina. Ortiz is probably more on the national team's radar now tok. He's playing for an important club, playing in Quito.

Aucas is just gonna go ahead and sign Sergio Quintero, Jefferson Orejuella and become finalist vs IDV this season.

Liga announced Jean Carlos Quiñónez. That's a good pick up. If he trains well Marini will give him a chance.

Jordan Gaspar to Liga. Liga Pro teams have made some interesting moves in this transfer window:

Ldu - Pollo López, Joao Ortiz, Jean Carlos Quiñónez, Gaspar
Bsc - Erick Castillo, Sosa, Souza
Emelec - Gato Garces, Guevara, Jeison Chala

Aucas has also made some interesting moves. Idv too (Cabezas, Jaime Ayovi).

Ive been wanting Gaspar to come to Ecuador for a while now. He been in Spanish 3rd división for a while now it time he came back to Ecuador. At this age he can blow up like Balda and Miguel Álvarez. I saw him play enough in spain to Say i like this kid he has talent. Finally we are making Smart moves.

Our only wingers will be Nilson, Munoz, Julio, Hoyos so Gaspar and Jean Carlos are excelent pick ups.

We should probably loan out Jefferson Arce, Troya or trade them for other players.

Good scouting because some of these signings came from left field

I think this year all the teams managed to make good local league/national signing but Liga and some other teams foreign signing seem very week. I hope it doesn't affect us too much or the competitiveness of the league as a whole. I would still like to see us preform internationally.

Liga just announced Alexander Alvarado. I'm not sure this is a good move on his part. Liga already has Muñoz, Julio, and Garincha who can all play on the left. If he starts and plays well then he'll battle Ayrton and Rojas for a spot on the NT.

Munoz and Julio aren't at their best form so the competition to get that starting spot will be interesting.

Garincha although I think is a great pick up is hard to say if he will be a main option to start. He is young doesn't have much experience in senior teams and don't forget that he had that huge health issue that almost made him retire. I wish him luck the good thing is he can play RW as well the potential and physical attributes are there.

On Right we have Nilson and Hoyos. Kevin Mercado, Jefferson Troya and Jefferson Arce we should all get rid of. There is no space for them on this team.

Jean Carlos Quiñónez is a player to keep an eye on. The kid is fast. He may start again Gualaceo.

He is def a good pick up and yes he has all the physical attributes to impress let's see how he competes with the other players for playing time.

Liga should fare better when they play with a proper #9.

Nilson and Alvarado will get more minutes in the upcoming games.

Marini has to go a different route at LB though. Ayala doesn't cut it.

I feel the same way. It really worry me to think how our CB will hold up this season we needed to sign at least one good foreign CB and ST imo. Disappointed we didnt make alot of the national signings we should have. Signing full backs would have been nice too. There were a few option we could have gone after.

The team basically made it very clear that this year was going to require tightening the belt. Revenues dipped and they were cutting payroll by something like 20-30%.

I'm not entirely sure about the prospects to be a top2 team this year, but if the youth pans out well, I'd say maybe top 4 is possible.

I'm not sure why Marini keeps Nilson, Ortiz, and Alvarado on the bench. Alvarado scored another goal today so I don't see how Marini can keep him on the bench moving forward.

Liga should have sold Muñoz and Jhojan Julio when they had the chance.

Luis Zubeldia has been linked with Liga. That would be a good signing. Good for Ecuadorian football to have a coach of his caliber.

He's not someone you build a long term project with. At most he'd stay 2 years. He'll get them results though.

Imagine if our league was full of coaches of that caliber the level of play would be amazing.

    Edguardo Bauza to Deportivo Cuenca
    Gabriel Schürrer to Mushuc Runa
    Jorge Fossati to Guayaquil City
    Pool Gavilánez to Gualaceo
    Geovanny Cumbicus to Cumbaya
    Pablo Repetto to Aucas
Miguel Angel Ramirez to Universidad Catholica
    Luis Zubeldia to Liga
    Sebastián Beccacece to Emelec.

Juan Manuel Azconzábal & Gabriel Heinze are linked to us too I think out of all the names thrown out there only Azconzabal is realistic.
