Anticipated starting lineup for today's 1st leg vs OM:

    Lazio (4-4-2): 33 Sereni, 7 Belleri, 25 Cribari, 2 Sannibale, 8 Zauri, 68 Manfredini, 4 Firmani, 20 Liverani, 10 Cesar, 9 Di Canio, 11 Muzzi.

Here is the full list of available players:
Peruzzi, Sereni, Angeletti, Belleri, Ciani, Cribari, De Silvestri, Lequi, Sannibale, Zaccardi, Zauri, Cesar, Liverani, Manfredini, Melara, Firmani, Dabo, Di Canio, Muzzi, Pandev, Rocchi, Tare.

I swear I saw somewhere that Behrami would also be available for the Intertoto, but maybe that was for the return leg.

Still no live coverage anywhere that I know of, even textcasts (aside from goals getting scored).

Thanks, I hadn't checked that site for a while since it went through a period of unreliable updates last year. Glad to hear it's still around.

BTW, kickoff is at 3 pm Eastern US time.

after the initial uncertainty apparently Behrami was added to the intertoto roster but he just joined the team yesterday. My guess is he will play in the return leg.

Going off the lineup Sue posted:
    Lazio (4-4-2): 33 Sereni, 7 Belleri, 25 Cribari, 2 Sannibale, 8 Zauri, 68 Manfredini, 4 Firmani, 20 Liverani, 10 Cesar, 9 Di Canio, 11 Muzzi.

2 things concern me, both Baronio and Dabo remain injured so serie b journeyman Firmani starts and playing Manfredini against a team known for strong wing play is trouble. I'd be surprised if Muzzi started ahead of Rocchi also.

    www.radiospazioaperto.it

neither eufa.com nor eurosport have match trackers going.

this is the lineup, rocchi out with knee injury:

    Sereni

    Belleri-Cribari-Sannibale-Zauri

    Manfredini-Firmani-Liverani-Cesar

    Muzzi-Di Canio

yeah I was watching some weird family programming from like 250 to 305 on roma uno...:)

anyway either crowd is quiet or small...prob a bit of both. a chance or two either way 20 mins in...doesnt sound like real danger so far. Muzzi early and Belleri a could mins ago with shots off target...

OM ties it up with Abdoulaye Meite around 70'..1-1.

Tare and Pandev on off the bench, Tare hits the post after another Liverani setup....

Ouch, an away goal can hurt.

and 1-1 final, not a good result....tough to win in europe having to use Manfredini, Firmani...youth callups like Sannibale.

sounds like an even match, with Di Canio and Liverani excelling. If the roster can be bolstered (or even a couple get healthy) perhaps a turnaround in Marseille is possible...

Hopefully, Rocchi is back for the next leg and maybe Behrami can make his debut.

A 1-1 draw doesn't sound to great but Lazio should be a able to win. It won't be a pushover but Marseille are French, so Lazio will surely be in with a chance.

good find sue!...the likely lineups, OM sporting a defensive 4-5-1.

Marseille (4-5-1): Carrasso; Beye, Dehu, Meite, Taiwo; Ribery, Lamouchi, Nasri, Koke, Oruma; Niang

On the bench: Quesnel, Fernandes, Luiyundula, Batlles, Ferreira, Mendoza, Nakata

Lazio (4-4-2): Sereni; Belleri, Cribari, Lequi, Zauri; Manfredini, Firmani, Liverani, Cesar; Di Canio, Rocchi

On the bench: Peruzzi, Sannibale, De Silvestri, Baronio, Pandev, Muzzi, Tare

I'm having no luck connecting. La7 was usually pretty reliable last year for Parma's games. Anybody get it working?

no LA7 for me either, that stinks...

0-0 at HT, sounds rather boring which suits Marseille fine...

I would toss on a third striker and go for it right off the bat in the second half.

    3-0 is the final score.

    Well.

Putting on my rose-colored glasses ...

At least now Lazio doesn't have the distraction of European play. And they don't even have to worry about the Coppa Italia until November. It's possible - just possible - that the early start to the season could help Lazio get off to a decent league start. Not saying they're going to compete for the Scudetto or anything, but it could give them some breathing room so they don't have the same worries like at the end of last season.

And really. Lazio didn't even deserve to be in the Intertoto. Should've been Messina or Livorno.

a very italian statement for sure...

at the least these matches were better preseason prep than meaningless friendlies...and exposed some players for sure.
