Lets see if Lazio can keep the streak going into the Christmas break. A Milan stumble and Lazio could lead the table half-way through...I will be at the Olimpico to watch them in-person for the first time!...

Lets hope AC slips up. It will be such a big statement for Lazio to the world by winning the half season and showing the world that nothing can hold us back...

lazio are one nill to the good at half time thanks to a Claudio Lopez strike on the 45th minute.

Also Milan are drawing 0 - 0 so this means at present Lazio are top for christmas.

    ok.

    Lazio 1 - 1 Bolongna

Lopez scores after 45 minutes but Bologna equalized on 65 when Zaccardo striked home.

    And thats how it ended.

Lazio will find themselves in second place if parma do anything but loose.

Inter beat Parma. Lazio is now in 3rd place, 1 point behind AC and Inter.

I was lucky enough to attend the match here in Rome -- the atmosphere in the Olimpico was awesome...although the play on the field was average at best.

Zaccordo's goal was class, Lazio didnt really do enough to earn the 3 points...a draw was fair.

quiet matches for Corradi and Stankovic barring a few flashes....

Nice to hear you got to go and see them in person Phillips.

I've decided that i will be going to see them when juventus come to Rome on the 4th may next year.

Any advice you could give me cause this will be my first time out of the country on my own.

    Thanx.

The Olimpico experience was awesome, I sat in the main stand behind the player bench....close to Curva Nord...those fans are amazing.

I was able to walkup an hour before the match and just buy a good ticket, but I would say that if Lazio and Juve are amongst the title contenders come May it could be sold out before hand. Maybe check the team web site leading up to May...

the stadium is a quick cab ride from the center of the city and also the subway train line runs close...

hey this is as unrelated as it gets, but im moving to rome from toronto in about 2 months, i got the option to live off savings for 2 months and bum around or try and get part time work and stay for like 6 months. i figure the longer i stay the better, my italian is pretty poor, its mostly calabrese anyway, a good 6 monhts would clean up the vocab.

definately will be attending some games....

anyone got any links or know some good websites for teaching english in rome or anything as such....

    any help would be sweet...
