A short documentary in 6 videos about Brazil at the 1990 World Cup and what went wrong, this covers the period from the hiring of Lazaroni through to the elimination at the hands of Argentina.

    Episode 1 (of 6)
Episode 1 is about hiring Lazaroni, the early losses (to Sweden and Denmark) that influenced his decision to play a 3-5-2

Episode 2 covers Copa América 1989 and the World Cup qualifiers. It opens with Lazaroni explaining that they thought they could call 21/22 players and then they discovered they could only call 18 for Copa América. It's crazy to remember just how random and disorganized things were back then.

The whole thing is worth watching on its own, but there are also some common themes with some ongoing conversations, such as hiring a coach without much experience, trying to keep up with European trends and even finding time for training/building a team without FIFA dates.

Here are the links to the other episodes. Most are between 12 and 16mins except for the last one (22mins)
