I saw the ground whilst watching the highlights of Chelsea and Charlton, and the ground was/is in absolutely dreadful condition. Hopefully the ground is re-surfaced for the Leeds match in a couple of weeks time.
Could someone explain this to me? I just got this via email: "Hello The Magpie, Zola Magic has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Laying the Pitch - in the Chelsea FC forum of BigSoccer Boards. This thread is located at: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=28361&goto=newpost There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the board again. Yours, BigSoccer Boards team" Can someone explain this? I'm suddenly getting similar messages to threads I've never subscribed to nor have an interest in subscribing to. The Magpie
Sounds like the BigSoccer Gods have deemed you an honorary Chelsea supporter. Name change on the way maybe?
Contact any of the supermods, or go to our (moderators) forum and report it.I have seen others with the same problem.
I'm not a horticulturalist, so maybe I'm missing something -- why is it necessary to replace the pitch now in mid-season as opposed to the off-season?
Labdarugo Because our pitch is really, really bad. As our manager said, its like playing on a "beach." This is what it looks like: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/team?id=363&cc=5901
