Not sure what to think yet. But I hope he has a keen eye for squad building, and hopefully Fayed gives him a large kitty, because we need some significant improvements. As far as coaching I can't judge yet, he's only had five matches, only one of which was a win. Hasn't blown my socks off yet.

I think this could be a good move, I think he can do well with actual prep time....also, probably bad new for Northern Ireland; unless they can find a solid replacement their Euro 2008 dreams may fall by the way side....

I like Lawrie as manager. I have a good feeling about him.

As a fan of Northern Ireland it kind of sucks, but Fulham come first.

I'm big on N. Ireland (well, Jonny Evans) so this came as a bit of a blow to me, but congrats to you Fulham supporters. I think he'll do well for you.

I'm rather indifferent to this. You know, the usual tag line and all. We should let him build a squad and see how it goes. The 1st season with a new manager is always shaky as his style has yet to establish, never mind having all the "right kind" of players for the new manager.

I'm afraid Spend Spend Spend is the only solution for Mo if we were to avoid another close encounter next season. Large element of LS's squad next season will be Chris's.
