And that was with the last minute mess of the Chicago unnamed Kick at the time..... So hopefully they are close on the 2012/2013 schedule.

And the revised schedule came out September 27 after Chicago didn't make it in.

Season is supposed to start on November 2. That's 74 days from now. We know Norfolk is out, so we're looking at seven teams again, playing 26 games.

the hold up with the schedule is because of the lancers , they are having issues with dates because of the hockey team they have sent revised dates back to the misl but that is the last i have heard of it the misl needs to get its act together

How is there "a hold up" when it's still more than a week before the schedule will be out at the same time as last year? If we get to August 30 and there's no schedule, then there's a hold up.

He's saying the schedule would have been out already.

Which may very well be true. But it's not a problem, now, is it?

Its a problum when you cant get dates to play at home so every schedule is messed up right now the
schedule was almost ready to go except the lancers home games so what ever team was sloted to play on that date are now changing there schedule

In other words they're going through the sometimes painful process of drafting a schedule that will work for all the teams in the league. Don't worry; they'll get it done. I think it would be a lot easier with eight teams than the seven they have, but they'll still get it done.

I think the amazing news has to do with the Silver Knights 2012-13 uniforms... to include full plate armor and broadswords (THAT would sell tickets!).

I'd rather the schedule come out later and be 100% accurate. I hate the "tentative" crap they threw up in years past.

If anything, they could announce team home openers, though.

The league is done with it and all the teams have a copy. Heaven forbid they, you know, actually release it to the public. Maybe they will hold it to Friday at 5PM so that ANY chance of ANY media pick up/minor boost will be lost. Or better yet, hold it for another two weeks. The teams can just keep tweeting that they have it and are gonna release it soon....

Expect the schedule to be released tomorrow at 3pm. Single table, no conferences. Let's get this season started!

this is why so Many Misl teams bring in low #s getting only 57 days to sell season tickets and game tickets

It's certainly part of the problem.

The major part of the problem is that this isn't 1984 anymore.

the Misl can rebuild a fan base like in 1984 but they are not helping out by giving teams 57 days to sell tickets . Go back to 1 Point goals for the love of god Its keeping fans away IMO

    1) No, they can't. It simply can't be done. The factors that went into that are gone and can't be recreated.
    2) That's true. Teams need time to sell. But even if they had double the time, they're not going to rebuild a 1984-sized fanbase, no matter how much you or I or Syd or Rich or anybody really, really loves indoor soccer. Ain't happening.
    3) There is no evidence that multi-point scoring has any impact on attendance whatsoever.
