It's annoying when posts get lost at the end of a thread, so I'll repost this for KDB:

I keep relating the fact that you're a Bayern supporter, to the color red, to Liverpool, and then thinking that you're a Liverpool fan.....

    Yep.

Not football, but the NHL is a feckin joke as well. Wonderboy/Superman/Savior/God Sidney Crosby "scores" a "goal" in OT even though he deflected it when his stick was above the crossbar (meaning no goal). The referees are all Canadian. The goal review room (who makes the final decision) is in Toronto and I'd assume full of Canadians. Crosby even had the gall to skate over to the referees during the review to inform them that it was a legitimate goal. Trying to get calls in Montreal and Toronto is impossible, and Sidney Crosby is the most protected player in all of sports.

EDIT: They interviewed him after the game and Crosby said he didn't think it was a goal but he'll take it. FFS no wonder no one follows that shit organization in the USA.

Attendence in the NHL is higher than it has been in years.

Sorry for taking it off topic but I'll have one more post on it. Tough semester at school and I get home, finally time to relax and watch sports. The Buffalo Bills completely imploded after a great start. The Buffalo Sabres are feckin shit after management allowed one of the best young teams in the league to be picked apart by free agency. Notre Dame football is completing its worst two season stretch in the programs entire 100+ year history... and we keep the useless coach. Chelsea have been HORRIBLE. This one really gets at me because it's very difficult to see the games in full at school. At home I can see them play with relative ease. Basically, all of my teams are crap (except Chelsea who are just frustrating as hell) and the incompetence of TPTB at seemingly all levels of all my teams is sending my blood pressure through the roof.

    Back to Diarra discussion!;)

this sucks for them, but I don't think they will miss him as much as they think they will. He's not Gerrard for Pool.

Apparently he's having a rather average season, but they're going to have to buy some midfield in January as most of them have been poor(as well as them still needing a DM)

    The article Fern referred to:
    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/a/arsenal/7794770.stm

Question is, who the fook will be captain. Article mentions Almunia but I'm not sure. High comedy if it ends up with Gallas and he leads them in great fashion!!

Mind you, probably shouldn't talk about captains too loudly in here right now.

I know a lot of people love Fabregas I just dont care for him. Great passer of the ball, and........not physical, not great defensively, not a very good goal scorer, not that athletic.....

Just not a fan I guess. To me his game is somewhere between Xavi and Pirlo, and is not as good as either.
