Re: Landon Donovan's missed PK Wow. What color is the sky in your world. He's been nailing them for the Nats. I rewatched the match, well, the goals and the PKs. And LD's PK looked like it would have hit where the back netting and side netting meet. That's not great, but it's decent. The shot should have been lower or higher, but it was hit pretty hard. Given how the keepers were coming a mile off the line, and Landon had played 120 minutes with dubious match fitness, it was a tough PK to make.
