How well is Frankie Lampard playing this season? I'm fortuante a enough to have a season ticket in the Matthew Harding Upper - and i've got to say this lad has been the palyer in midfield who has changed our game accordinly.

Last season probley wasn't Frank's best as he was in the process of changing from playing in a 3 in midfield to a 4 in midfield. But he's been one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the country.

I wonder if Sven will try changing from playing Gerrard and Scholes to Lampard and Nicky Butt or someone.

    Todays game

Played a good game today. He may have been upstaged a bit by Cole who probably had his best game of the season for the Arse.Beats me how SGE doesn't even have a permanent squad place for him.

Yes after a slow start to last season he has come on in leaps and bounds. Had a good 2nd half last season and is even better this. I have talked to a few West Ham fans and was surprised how low they rated him, not sure if it was sour grapes or not but they said he was very lazy at West Ham and only got into the side because of his Uncle.

He certainly covers the ground these days, and with Le Saux is one of the few players we have that is prepared to take the game to the opposition by running at them.

His distribution has improved this year too.
