Hope to play ASC New Stars ... I've seen Laredo more than once and would love to see another club from Texas play.

They are not a bad team. Crocketteers played them in state cup. They scored one on us at the 32nd minute and we peppered their goal but couldn't put it in. The New Stars have won the state cup for 6 consecutive years.

Laredo Heat won the Round One match. They will face the Scorpions next Tuesday, I believe. Looks pretty good for the Scorpions, who beat the Heat in preseason.

Shouldn't be an issue with these guys. Still, Texas affairs are always fun.

Wow if the Scorpions could beat the Heat.. Then Houston comes to SA. That would rock would love to see the Texian Army and other Dynamo supporters going head to head with the Crocketters and Bexas C Casuals and others.

I doubt many people would make the trip since it's on a Tuesday. I have spoken with some peeps and I think we will be lucky to get as many people there as we did at Chicago for the game against the Fire. All of this could change in a week. I'm guessing anywhere between 20-60 SG members.

Any clue as to what the regional match-ups will be? I know that they separate teams from the same league.
