I don't blame them. I don't want to walk into the stadium and see someone pushing pro-Palestine or pro-Israel stuff. Go somewhere else with that crap.

With that said, I think the policy should allow fans to display the flag of any nation a player was either born in or represents internationally. If you have a Palestinian or Israeli or Ukrainian or Russian player, I see no issue displaying one of the flags in support of that player.

The St. Louis CITY banner story was retracted. Guy deleted his posts.

The issue was the banner was bigger than the regs allowed without pre-approval. They let him off on a warning, but he tried to make it into a bigger story.

You might get some ruffled feathers re: a Russian flag, but I don't think there are any Russians playing in MLS, are there?

Well I saw twitter last night and this morning, and I'm guessing there is a new flag policy or one that is more strictly enforced.

So in other words, someone twisted a story into something it wasn't in order to manufacture outrage?

    I'm shocked.

Even though it's (likely) not his issue, fire this bastard because you get an error message when trying to buy tickets for Ruby Tuesday Live on the Nordecke website

Apparently, and I learned this about an hour ago, presales stopped at 11am.

But there's a $10 at the door option, cash or Venmo.

How is this guy still Nordecke's Communications Director?!?

Dangling this nugget of "information" with nothing but this:
    as his "sources."

How dare he not tell us what we want hear--not the truth, but that Cucho will stay and all will be sunshine and rainbows!

Yeah I’m torn on this one.
Clearly not a good look, but those workers had to be exhausted.

Sorry, I don't buy it. The pub is run by a vendor. They can and do lock the doors to.the rest of the stadium. The poor overworked "stadium workers" can go home, the vendor can shut down the kitchen, bring in a relief bartender or two if they have to and keep going.

Maybe one or two overpaid and underworked team gerbils can hang around collecting OT to keep an eye on things, but that's not exactly working in a salt mine.

The employees at the stadium Condados actually work normally at other condados locations.

I’m sure they could have stayed open later.

Best option: Keep the bar fully open because you have a contingency plan. Whether that's a second shift or extra hours, it's the best.

Another option: Close the kitchen, but keep the bar open. You're making money, but do you really want to be serving beer without food. I've seen this happen, but I don't think it's legal.

Good option: Keep the TVs on, but send the bar/kitchen staff home. Have an FO employee or two, but at least it's better than anything else.

Anything else: "Oh shit! The game went long and we got caught with our pants down. Oh well. I guess we gotta close up shop and kick our own fans out. They'll understand though. It's not the first time they got kicked out of a stadium before they were ready."
