How quickly will LAFC fill out their youth structure? LAFC academy to be fully built by next fall Boys’ side will have full representation. http://www.angelsonparade.com/2017/...ademy-fully-built-out-by-next-fall-ussda-boys
This is good news. I know people still think LAFC made a poor decision for not taking over the Chivas academy but I strongly believe it was a smart choice. Why? LAFC has the ability to start fresh & attract more then just Latino kids to the academy unlike Chivas did. https://www.instagram.com/p/BPS8QqMh32H/ LAFC plans to host a tournament in Bell Gardens where it was once the home of the Chivas USA academy
U12 Match 1 - (Carson 2:1 LAFC), Match 2 - (LAFC 3:0 Carson) Both sides played quality football. Great atmosphere for the kids

The Generation Adidas Cup took place in Dallas this past week, and MLS and international academies participated in the annual event. Of particular note, LAFC entered the fray for the first time, and finished well, taking fifth place out of 20 U-12 teams. The tournament was a 7-v-7 affair at that age level. Los Angeles Football Club played in Group A, beating the Chicago Fire U-12s 3-1, Columbus Crew SC 3-0, Sporting Kansas City 2-1, and losing the group stage finale against New York City FC 2-0. From there, in the knockout stage LAFC beat Philadelphia Union 1-0, and then downed Toronto FC 1-0 in the fifth-place match to seal their finish. http://www.angelsonparade.com/2017/...12s-take-5th-place-generation-adidas-cup-2017
