Atlanta United vs. LAFC: Three Questions No surprise, they’re feeling pretty good these days. https://www.angelsonparade.com/2018...artino-ezequiel-barco-injuries-josef-martinez
There is no fight in the team. No one who gets pissed and wills the team to answer. Lots of pretty still needs ugly to get a win. James
The VAR call was garbage but that can’t break you unless you let it. It was the Martinez goal that took the wind out off their sails. Definitely against the run of play but really poor defending. Same crap as at the end of the Galaxative crapfest. Poor positioning, goaltending, etc James
My game observations The bad: Moutinho’s is still green. Lost a lot of balls, his passing and decision making needs to improve. Where is Diego Rossi? Came into the league tearing it up in the first two games. Needs to be consistent is he’s going to be collecting DP money. Blessing is fun to watch running around but to be part of the attack he needs to be more of a threat. Also I looks like he is easily pushed off the ball. Injuries- we need to see this Egyptian guy and our starting goalie from Honduras. I know it’s still early in the season but every point counts The good: Carlos Vela- he can’t score every game but at least he shows up and can be dangerous at any moment. The problem is that he can’t do it all himself. Uruena- The only other person that looked like a threat. Made great runs and he leaves it all on the field. Feilhaber- has been solid in the mid- field. Team leader and shows consistency.
Benny can’t be the team leader if he can’t get the team to fight back after going down a goal. Ciman needs to hand someone else the captains armband if he can’t do it. This team needs to fear and respect their captain. I’m not sure anyone on the field deserves fear or respect. James
“We are building a team. It’s time to be strong, to be a man, and talk face-to-face and say what happened.”Carlos Vela after the match. pic.twitter.com/ApfPjeD2bi— LAFC (@LAFC) April 8, 2018

Friday, July 26 - vs. Atlanta United Finally, LAFC wrap up the month of July with their first-ever home meeting against the MLS Cup defending champs, Atlanta United. Last time these teams played, ATLUTD spanked them 5-0 in Atlanta, so LAFC would surely like to get one back. Atlanta started kind of cold this year under Frank de Boer, but I have bad news: They are getting better each week. Hopefully that pleasant trajectory stops before they take on the black-and-gold, but this one should be a big game as well!
