LA Times on Gazza and United

    Here's an interesting piece that has unkind things to say about United and Gazza, and then winds up with some interesting quotes from one of his old Tottenham team mates that basically says that if Gazza is signed he'll have to shape up because the MLS is very competitive.

    You'll have to wade past a whole bunch of LA based crap before you get to the qoute, but it's an interesting journey.

    I will always remember his playoff predictions from year 1 (on espnnet.com). Other than picking LA to win quarter and semi rounds, he picked every other series wrong throughout the playoffs (including the Cup). It always amazes me how many "respected" US Soccer writers know absolutely nothing about the game and Jones is the prime example.
