I second that. When will "the stadium" open up for business. :)

It looks like the project is coming along pretty good. Just can't wait until next year and the openning of the gem.

I hope Dallas gets a WUSA team.....

And Heather Mitts is on it.

With the Charge touring the facility---have to wonder why? I guess just to see it, but who knows.

Re: I hope Dallas gets a WUSA team.....

    Interesting point.

From what I recall reading, Anschutz will be offering many of the best seats at the new stadium only as "premium seats" aka "club seats".

Since a premium seat holder buys himself/herself a seat to all events held that year in the new stadium, it would make sense for Anschutz to fill the stadium calendar with as many events as possible so he could charge more per seat. And what better way to do so than attract a WUSA franchise.

I think it's dust and smoke from construction.

I am Mexican and I have been there.

And, believe me, amenities are third-world class.

Food is bad --probably better outside the stadium, with the added risk of salmonella or typhus-- and don't are to go into a restroom, or take your kid there for this matter. They are as pestilent and unsanitary as you can find. I almost vomited when I stepped upon fecal matter.

So there is no comparison. No stadia in Mexico will ever approach the amenities, cleanliness and comfort of an American facility.

(Still, some people in Monterrey are talking about building an "American style" stadium. Being Monterrey people real entrepreneurs to the chore, that might a possible change

    My fault:

Bad misspelling and one word missing:

    It should have been:

Being (Monterrey people) real entrepreneurs to the core (not chore), meaning 'at heart", the stadium could be a real possibility...

That is, if anybody in Mexico can build an "American Style stadium" would be the Monterrey businessmen...

that is good... the amenities here in the stadiums are nothing compared to the ones in USA (i think is that because the people there are a little picky...)
well... lets wait what kind of amenities will have the new deporcali stadium...

I have said it before and I am saying it again, I swear I would never want to live in LA, because from the webcam it looks like it rains every day (literally). What a lovely place to live. It would be just like living in England.

Rain or just usual early-day low clouds, I've pretty much given up on using this cam. I can live with the occasional updates from Gal fanaticos.

If that were really true then carson would be drier than a desert......."Desert, term applied to regions of the earth that are characterized by less than 254 mm (10 in) of annual rainfall"

I was at the site on Saturday and took some digital video.

Does anyone (yellow card site?) have a way of posting it so that all can see? Just drop me a PM

I'm sure elninho or richard fidler would be able to pony up some webspace.

p.s. How are the islands doing? I'm missing out on my 3rd trip because of some scheduling issues. Wish I could be there, it's 40 degrees and shitty in South Dakota today.
