So is it just gonna be me and the Rapids or is anyone else planning to go? I'm not really excited about it but I figure it's supporting the MLS, so I'm going.
I was asking how much Legend paid for his ticket. Cough. So for those of you that did go... how was it? I don't care about the turnout so much as I'm curious how it looked, as in was the picture quality on a big screen still awesome? Last time I saw a broadcast HDTV signal projected onto a large screen like that, it was too pixelated (it's still half the resolution of film).
The picture quality on the big screen was still awesome. Actually, it may have been too good. I never realized Cobi Jones was so ugly. I never noticed the pixels during the run of play, and I occasionally looked for them. The only time I could see the pixels was when the screen was a solid color for commercials and to show the mls logo. Fortunately, it didn't happen very often. The only negative was the sound was really loud at the start of the broadcast and either my ears adjusted or they got it sorted out. Probably the latter. If anyone cares, the Rapids that showed up were Hendo, Kingsley, Schmidt, Beckerman, and Vallow. If all Rapids away games were shown at the Pavilions, I'd be there every away game and I'll be at the CR/LA game on 7/9 and the SJ/LA game on 7/30. It was a good experience. I recommend it.
Schedule Where can you find the schedule for all the games (any MLS teams) that are going to be shown at the theater?
