Honduras is in a better position than Guate and El Salvador as they actually export talent abroad almost regularly.

Dominican Republic could be the next Panama of the region if their Fed put their resources in growing the Local League and in youth and they have the bonus of the Dominican community that exists in Spain.

Honduras being Honduras played for a draw

But how garbage were all the Central American teams besides Panama who will get thrashed against any decent team

Well right now everyone outside of Panama should be concerned since players aren’t moving the needle to get picked up abroad.

We had no buisness qualifying, any of us. I think Panama was going to qualify regardless of the host byes. To another 4 years gents, the entire confrence is changing so fast it'll be intresting to watch at least.

I know most didn't like Hugo's assessments, and hindsight is clearer than water, but he should've been allowed to implement his recruitment and development strategy. I said this before, he may not have been the best coach but his eye for talent has a proven track record.

Hugo should be given a job at the Fed, we badly need international recruiting considering just how bad the Local League has gotten.

Is fustrating how bad the the fans want to see La Selecta in another world cup.

Could it possibly happen in 15 to 25 years? Possibly, if we have a plan in placed to improve the many problems the country has with the sport. The'res many big red flags and the only way to fix it is by attacking them head on so when we make the world cup we are not only there but we are competing.

I really hope things could better with our sport looking back 15 years ago when I first started fallowing the team hardcore. On my end I have no regrets we gave it all we had and gave them the support they needed to play harder.

El Salvador played two friendlies before the WC, one vs South Korea and one vs Qatar

Lost 1-0 vs SK on a freekick. The wall seemed to open up and Mario couldnt react in time.

    Tied 0-0 vs Qatar

Not bad results considering our current level

Bad in the standpoint it was very, very little attempts at offense. Ordaz is showing that frustration many players not born in El Salvador have show before.

Ordaz and the Gil brothers are the only legit talent that we have, the local leaguers don’t cut it and Bonillo is a mediocre coach living from past accomplishments.

The new cycle doesn’t start until Gomez gets fired, its baffling that the Fed has government money support now but Nayib Bukele choose to keep this loser as head coach.
