El ex coordinador de la selección de fútbol de Ecuador Vinicio Luna aseguró hoy que ha apelado la sentencia de un año de prisión, que ya cumplió, ordenada por un juez de Quito, que le condenó por una tentativa ilegal de tráfico de emigrantes. 'Se me impuso una sentencia y la he apelado e iré hasta las últimas consecuencias', para demostrar inocencia, indicó Luna, que el pasado viernes recuperó su libertad tras permanecer un año en una cárcel de Quito, mientras se investigaba el caso. Not bad,,but WTF is Vizuete doing calling up UDLC and Issac Mina.Gabriel Achilier should be in that nomina instead of Mina and DeLaCruz should be taking care of his f!cked up hip and should never return to la tri,the man is done. Good to see Mendez in that nomina,,,wish Kaviedes would get his sh!t together though. Guerron could not be a starter,the man would do better coming off the bench,,,trust me!
my stating lineup -awesome goalie -defense would be ok but that would be our weakness -Castillo as a defensive mid helping out or defence but also moving the ball from defence to our midfielder -Midfield is awsome great ball control and i really cant see a weakness Antonio a threat from the right side and Guerron from the left side(i know he usually plays right but if it works out it would be sweet) Mendez with his power shot in the middle and of course Urrutia solid player -Fowards would be great to Tenorio is great in the ground and air he would be great when Antonio or Guerron cross the ball same with Caicedo he is a giant and a beast. Benitez should also get consideration for starting hes awesome he has great ball control can dribble past a good defense(very special player)

benitez will not be traveling to Argentina...he and 4 players will stay in quito to train for Colombia
that is my assumption. when vizuete made the callups, he said benitez would not travel to argentina. i am a bit confused by his motives, but i bet he has good reasons, aside from the altitude. the game against colombia is a must win, but we def should win in argentina also to make ground on the opposition
I'm getting concerned about the timing of the qualifiers and the Copa Libertadores - this is one of those GOOD problems that we unfortunately are not used to having. Will the final of Copa Libertadores be delayed until after the WC qualifying matches??? I assume, otherwise if Liga wins tonight we would have to find 6 replacements!!
the libertadores finals will be respectively be on the 25th of this month and the second of july from what I read last week, so the liga players will not have a problem if we advance to the next round. ECUADOR!!!! LIGA!!!!!
