I was going through the news articles that jmeissen posts each day, and there was a good story about the various LAG supporters' groups in one of the local rags. However, it included the following squib about LARS: "Even the Riot Squad — a name that surely worried that minority of Carson residents who tried to galvanize opposition to the stadium by invoking fears of rampaging soccer fans — is more a collection of teddy bears than grizzly bears" Teddy bears? Teddy bears??? Are you guys going to take that sitting down (I know, I know, you never sit down)? Or has he called you out for what you really are?
Only at halftime to rest our legs or if we're not getting beer. I think the writer also wrote that to assure the readers that we're not violent hooligans.
It's damn tragic that the only thing the Carson residents associated with soccer was hooliganism. Never underestimate the power of the U.S. media.

Ok, I'll admit I've never seen you guys in action. But from the article I gathered that your group is a bunch of hardcore supporters who love your team. Be proud of that. You also support the Galaxy in a way that doesn't put a black mark on the face of US soccer. Be proud of who you are. You are hardcore supporters of your team, but you try to minimize all of that nasty destruction and violence stuff. Just my few thoughts.
