He lays the smack down on CDC USA

    Is this posted somewhere else?

Perez Teuffer, an America de Mexico official, says that they are negotiating with MLS.

TV rights are holding things up, if my horrible Spanish has not betrayed me again.

He says that America de Houston will be a competitive team, not an Old Age Home like CDC USA.

He says that there are 4 potential sites in Houston.

There's probably stuff that's even more entertaining than "CDC USA just brought in 23 guys off the street."

Same, word to word, article posted in ESPNDeportes....nothing new. I am thinking that probably by Oct. 31-deadline for Toronto, by first week of November (crossing fingers) we will hear something. I imagine something along the lines of "MLS Makes History: Toronto gives the green light and MLS and America reach tentative agreement for expansion."

I'm all for Houston getting a team,Just not the
    San Jose Earthquakes.

And this buisness of Houston America USA has
    to go.

It is polarizing to have these Chivas USA,America
    de Houston teams.

The Australian Soccer league had the same
problems. Some of it's teams had ethnic names
like Melbourne Croatia or something similar to that.
