Well the official site has yet to announce it. http://www.foxsportsworld.com/world/ This may be another case of Oliver trying to generate some hits on his site. He has four days to still be right.
well sinko check again because FSW has offically confirmed that they will carry 2 la liga matches a week on tape delay starting with betis-real, celta-mallorca http://www.foxsportsworld.com/world/pdf/fsw37.pdf
Well whadda ya know. One would think they'd put an announcement on their home page, no? So Ollie gets one right... good for him.
Right on Patrick. ESPN has done the biggest disservice to soccer here in the US. They splurged on buying the rights to all the leagues then little by little stopped showing the games. One only had to look at the total number of games which were available on American TV 3-4 years ago and compare them to this season. EPL on taped delay unless you wanted it live on PPV. Fewer CL and UEFA Cup matches etc. Good for Fox and for us liga fans! Saludos y Viva Er EuroBeti Manque Alfonso y Lopera! Pichi
I would imagine that part of the reason they bought the rights was because of the increased number of Mexicans in the league, so you should be golden.
now if we can just get serie A. something to kick all that other shite off the channel ie. aussie rules and canadian fl.

Re: Crap! As of today Lopera has been paid the monies owed to him by Audiovisual Sport. That means at least in Spain the game will be televised. Now it it up to Fox to ensure they take care of the last minute details so they can retransmit the game. The news is listed below in Spanish from the Betis Home Page and has been confirmed thru other sources. Saludos y viva er eurobeti manque alfonso y lopera!
The most recent FSW TV schedule lists the Sunday match but NOT the saturday game; what's this about a pay dispute? Will we only get one match per week or two?
We still get two games a week. My impression of the Betis-Real game is that Betis and whoever is covering the game had a dispute over money and Betis said they couldn't cover the game. I think someone said that it had been resolved but I haven't seen evidence of it anywhere.
Well, they're starting Sunday. Maybe they had the contract agreement start with this week, which in the US starts on Sunday.
