I have been told that La Liga is by far one of the best football leagues in the world to follow, the fans and the tradition is amazing. Well, how the heck am I suppose to follow/watch/support it when it is never on FSW? Are there any La Liga pubs or ones that televise matches? Also are there any La Liga fans in Chicago? Heck I would bring beer over if we hit it off and watch it at your place. Thanks for your input.
why don't you call up Ginger's Ale House and ask them if they know of a place? La Liga is available on Gol-TV.
Thanks for the info. I visit Ginger's for Arsenal matches. They don't show La Liga. Too bad Comcast doesn't offer GolTV. My wife and I have thought about getting a Dish, but terrified about reception sucking. What leagues does GolTv televise? FSW shows Dutch, German, Argentinian, Brazilian, French and of course the English Premiership!
http://200.40.76.9/estaticos/images/goltv/index.html I don't have a dish, and I have Time Warner Cable (the wrong one for Gol-TV in NYC!). Their website mentions Italian, Spanish, and various Latin American leagues.
Just wondering... Does anyone have any idea what the chances would be of Cafe Iberico showing either Real-Celta or Barca-Depor? I've called the place in the past to ask if any specific games were going to be shown downstairs, and got absolutely nowhere. Lisa
mmmmmmm.... Cafe Iberico is good. Emilio's has better food, but Iberico has better atmosphere. The Spanish restaurants in New York are such crap compared to the ones in Chicago.
I just called Gol-TV to ask them if they know what bars or restaurants carry Gol-TV. They said they didn't have the information in front of them but they would email later. I will post the info if and when I receive it.
