Cruzeiro asks for suspension of the final:

    There we go again...

This year's edition of the Copa Libertadores appears to be cursed.

Well, I hope they can play it. I guess it is up to the health officials and to the leadership of Cruzeiro to make the decision. If they refuse to travel to La Plata, it is understandable, but I hope the match can be played under safe conditions.

Damn shame if the flu gets in the way, because if it can be played under normal conditions it will be one hell of a final. Both teams are playing well lately, especially Cruzeiro.

Even though Argentina isn't the country with the most cases of Influenza in South America, but Brazil has a lot less though. But i guess they were too late to decide anything the match will still be played in La Plata. And yes CONMEBOL may be one-sided but the difference is that Estudiantes is from a country that is an actual member of CONMEBOL.

Do you guys like the 2 legged final or 1 game at neutral location? I like this format better, I wish UEFA would do this.

Estudiantes haven't been able to finish their chances. I think Cruzeiro will end up scoring on a counter attack.

I think he just arrived at Cruzeiro this year. Ramires is going to Benfica.

Cruzeiro playing extremely dirty. Heck, Veron was elbowed and now his face can't stop bleeding... not even a yellow card. Disgusting.

Wow, that was the worst piece of finishing I've seen in a while. The Cruzeiro player had the entire net completely open and he hit it wide.

I dunno but he used to play for Dynamo Kiev and he joined Cruzeiro this year. He's a pretty good player but I dunno if that much.
