I hate when we force tackles that aren’t on. Already seen that from Altidore, Ream and Pulisic. Not worth risking a timing error and getting a red.
Altidore started out energetic but after he missed his opportunity he’s resorted to his old style of standing and watching too much. Pulisic dribbling his ass off, looking for an outlet while Jozy just watches. Good Altidore anticipates. Bad Altidore stands in middle of field and hopes.
This whole night I've been telling my husband that Dos Santos was going to hurt us. Wish I had posted it here so I could have premonition credit. I knew it.
I found that game really tedious to watch in the second half. I don't have anything coherent as far as analysis. Everything was annoying me, especially Michael Bradley, but I am NOT objective.
Hopefully Antuna takes a step after this tournament, after all this playing time and success. Also extremely happy for Jonna. He was my favorite player on the field.
Not just you - I found 2nd half annoying as well. Game was ugly for both sides and we seemed intimidated. Arriola was a lone bright spot for US. Incredible effort and ground coverage.
