It's so wrong seeing him in that Mexico jersey and not in a USA jersey... USSF get your sh!t together to prevent that kind of talent from getting poached away by Mexico ever again!
He said he hasn’t closed the door on representing the US. However I think there’s only 2 ways he ends up playing for the US. 1). The FMF does him dirty and drops him from a camp or doesn’t call him up for a team. 2). The full US national team, U20s, and U17s all out perform Mexico over the next couple of years and we end up as the more desirable team to play for. I don’t really see either of those happening.
He also needs to factor in - if at all possible- the likely depth charts on both teams. Not going to do him much good to be on the ‘better’ national team if he stays stuck on the bench.
Do you know why he switched from the US U-15 team (where he was on one occasion the team captain) to the Mexican U-15 team?
Not sure of the specifics, but I believe the U-15 coach at the time didn’t like him and either didn’t get called up to a camp or sent home from a camp early. Mexico was taking notes and they called him up.

So the guy, who collected a finder's fee for having kids sign in Europe for a stipend not even a real salary, wants his brother to be the U20 NT coach. Nothing like objectivity and doing whats best for the players.
