Goal by Paintsil. Good for him to get on the scoresheet 1-0 I tend to not get too knee deep in the weeds with all the movement around during the offseason or breaks But as much as I don't like losing Pec, that frees up Paintsil to take his place on the right side at least.
I agree that Paintsil on the right may help unlock him. Reus seemed more lively than usual. A midseason break probably did him good. Defense was pretty strong, except for one mistake that Micovic did well to save (although the Club America player should have centered the ball for an easier shot).

Vanney said in the pregame that a point of emphasis during this WC break was playing with a lead. It seemed like they used the second half to practice managing the game/desperation defense. I don't mind that, especially since we may not have the firepower to get in a goals fest with teams.
I initially streamed the game on my tablet while I watched the WC game on TV. I then went to my laptop which has a 2k oled screen and the quality was pretty good and certainly better than kids highlight videos.

so the consensus is Pec was moved because he was homesick. I commend the FO for doing a solid for a player that didn't want to be here and sent him where he wanted to be. and as of now it looks like Pec has no other ambitions but to stay in Brazil and carve out a stable career.
