Does anybody have any information on this?

I love the way AEG is trying to suck it up to Hispanics.

The funny thing is that I wanted to do a branch of the Texian Army for Hispanics. Like for cheap hispanics like myself that like chaep ticktes.
My wife is even making a Flag. We were going to called it the East End Brigade of the Texian Army.
    Damn AEG.

Anyway $12.00 is a pretty sweet deal and I'll take it any day.
So I will take my flag to section 217 and spread the seed of the Texian Army.

    PS

What do you guys think of the Black Shorts? I like the kit with black shorts better?

I think the black shorts only work if you get rid of the white trim. I didn't like the look of black shorts with white trim. I preferred all-white.

    The more the merrier. :)

I don't mind another supporters group starting, but I don't like them sticking them on the side instead of somewhere in the north end and giving them a discount after giving us a quota to get one.

I also don't want it to become a Texian Army = white people type of thing which it seems they are trying to do by targeting this new group towards Hispanics.

And I didn't really like the black shorts too much either, I agree that it doesn't look right with the white trim on the shirts.

What Asinine Entertainment Group should have done was put La Doce next to the Texian Army and have one big ass Army. However, as we all know, these fools just don't seem to do things which make very much sense anyway. I think it would be a good idea for the two group leaders to get together and form a joint venture. It seems like AEG wants two separate groups. What better way to stick it to them than by forming one group.

I was under the impression that La Doce is something that AEG is trying to create themselves. I could be wrong though.

On a slightly related topic, does anybody know anything about this?

Yes, to me it sounds like AEG is probably expecting to sit a lot of walkups in the La Dolce section. It will be a place to sit, and probably not have any kind of set leadership as a group, although it may organize more. Heck AEG could even sell their own La Dolce merchandise... who knows...

still it stinks that they get such a huge discount in that section...

GoDaddy is the registrar, which MLS never has used. It was registered to Sam Saqr on April 8.

I will give OL and AEG the benefit of the doub that La Doce is an actual group of Latinos in Htown who want to form their own barra, but do no have contact with the Texian Army. Do the positive step...approach them. Talk to them. Ask them about their barra. The more the merrier.

The Dynamo Fans web page....hmmm..now...that one is too "official" for my taste.

I e-mailed the team asking about it.

They said that they are trying to get a supporters group for Hispanics.
I told them about my flag and they invited me to meet with them.
    I got a response from OL himself.

If that's the case then great, I just get a feeling that it's something AEG is doing. And if it is a group started by fans why do they get a discount when the Texian Army doesn't?

That site seems to be using the same software as the Texian Army site so I doubt it's official.
