Well I live near Napa for a while when I was little and I picked some of it up in kindergarden and 1st grade. It is really an interesting process. You need to concentrate and turn off the part of your brain that controls higher reasoning. Then it suddenly all makes sense, actually everything in California makes sense if you use this "self lobotomizing" method of thinking.

  2. Since you are somewhat familiar with the local topography, perhaps you would help me organize a little thing I'm planning. I'm dubbing it "Operation Jump Start."

Objective 1: Plant massive explosives along the San Andreas fault.

Objective 2: Detonate from an HQ located at an undisclosed but safe location. I'm thinking Nick's Beer Garden on Milwaukee Ave.

Objective 3: Laugh as LA, San Diego, et al are torn from the mainland and drift slowly out to sea.

Any other volunteers will be welcome, as well.

Yet Tyrone continued to say that the forwards for Jamaica are pretty much set.

    Anyway, being discussed here

I'm still wet as a result of this game.

Those of you that were there will know what I'm talking about.

    Of course, dumbass :)

    How could a guy not?

Any time you end up at the end of the night in nothing but wet boxers and a Fire scarf and you can't see the hand in front of your face, it's a pretty good evening.

  8. As far as I can remember, last time it happened to you was in Morelia.

One question. How did you guys luck out and get Jack Edwards for an announcer on the local Fox outlet? ;)

    Someone died.

Apologies for being crass, but that's what happened.

Darrien was SO much better, for us in Chicago sportdom and technically in his professionalism and keeping Stern in check. I wish he could have been around to see this season and coming back to SF.

Not at all. That's not being crass. I'm sorry to hear that.
Problem is, JE has not improved since his announcing of the WC. You guys deserve better.

Why is that every time Carlos "Floppng Fish" Ruiz commits a fouls, is called offsides or fouled he's aloud to get right in the ref's face to complain and the ref does nothing. But when our player's complain to the ref he tells them to back off or they will get carded. That piece of SH!T Ruiz all he does is dive, foul, bitch and complain the whole game and no yellow that's a joke.

I was at the game... and I understand the that capacity is in the range of 27k. I believe there were more empty seats than full ones at most times during the game. Assuming that would mean that there were 14-15k people in the seats - that means there were 10,000 people wandering around the concourse area... . I dont think so... more likely 16k at the game - not the 23k that they announced.
