Do any USL/NPSL teams use these stadiums?

    Murdock Stadium
    --Torrance, CA (12,127)

    Long Beach Veterans Stadium
    --Long Beach, CA (11,600)

    Corsair Stadium
    --Santa Monica, CA (6,600)

    Monarch Stadium
    --Van Nuys, CA (6,000)

    Weingart Stadium
    --Los Angeles, CA (20,355)

    Whittier Memorial Stadium
    --Whittier, CA (7,000)

    Himler Lodge Stadium
    --Walnut, CA (15,000)

    LeBard Stadium
    --Costa Mesa, CA (7,600)

    Santa Ana Municipal Stadium
    --Santa Ana, CA (9,000)

Another question is, could they be used by local teams (for home games against big teams) if there was a California Cup involving all teams?

Of the stadiums you listed, the only one used by any soccer team (other than HS and college) is LeBard, which is used by the PDL Orange County team.

To answer your question, those are all junior college football stadiums, and could be used for soccer matches. In addition to those you listed, there's also Citrus Stadium in Azusa (10,000).

What do you mean by a California Cup?

Of course Murdock Stadium was the home of the NASL's LA Aztecs in the mid 70's. As a ballboy for the team I saw George Best, Pele, Beckenbauer and all the other stars of the era up close and personal. What a great place for a soccer game! You were right on top of the field. The place was packed for most games. When ownership moved on to bigger venues like the Mausoleum it was the beginning of the end. They averaged 8000+ during the El Camino years, and although you have the capacity at 12000+ there were no individual seats back then, only wooden bench seating. True capacity was somewhere around 10,000 so 8K was loud and full. Those were great days.

None of the stadia on your list would good for soccer except Murdock and Santa Ana because they all have running tracks around them and keep fans far from the playing field.
