With a win today we'd be guaranteed to gain ground on either Bordeaux or Lyon, as they play each other tomorrow. Allez l'OM.

Great shot by Ziani. Nice cut back by Cheyrou, too.

Mamad gets fouled near the edge of the box, perhaps just outside, and is given a penalty. He converts, and it is 2-0.

Gerets shouldn't have walked into the game assuming that it was an easy 3 points. The entire team was overconfident and slacked off too early, thinking that Lorient was as good as dead.

    What a painful game.

Despite all problems ahead,we need to cheer Bordeaux today. If not, things start to get difficult again.

We really started sucking after the disallowed goal. I guess it must have messed with their mindset. And then Gerets didn't put Kabore on, which was stupid. That should be an automatic just about anytime we have a lead late in a game, putting Kabore on for one of the attacking midfielders.

Yea, at least a tie would be nice. But I think Lyon will win pretty easily, to be honest.

i don't know if it's because you're all so chivalrous, or good sports or just didn't realize, but corinne lagrange did you guys a very bad turn...

if it's true that her first blown call gave you a penalty, there was one on the other side you deserved so that evens out... but the two offsides called on niang were the worst calls i've ever seen. chapron took all the heat for her but my guess is we'll not see her on the sidelines in L1 again.

I didn't want to seem like I was doing the whole "the refs favor Lyon" thing...but, yea, I was definitely mad at how the calls went. Our penalty probably shouldn't have been one, but it should have been a red card. There was a no-call in the first half that seemed like it should have been a penalty. And those offside calls really sucked.

the up coming games will be tough. we can't afford another slip up like the one on saturday or else i chances for the title will be gone. marseille needs to focus and fight to the end

its long time since we've had good season like this
