    Polonia??

What would you want it to say?? :p

    p.s.

    Awe crappolla,I can't make a poll anymore !!
Where's a Mod when you need one. always threatening to ban people for posting corny jokes and stuff, but you need a little bit of help?? they'll treat you like if you had the Bubonic plague or something.

Okay, this is the best I can do:

__Mickey Mouse sues the Galaxy because he doesn't want to be associated in any form with that team.
__Dynamo win by TKO after Becks refuses to come out for the second half.
__Donovan throws in the towel in the first half and runs around the field screaming "no mas, no mas"
    __Dynamo tie.........yea, right.
__Galaxy win after the Ref. finally confirms that the Lala's check cleared and calls two penalties in their favor.

Please vote your conscious and vote often.
    Thank you.

This was a tough poll this week.

I figured that #3 was the closest to an outright Dynamo win.

One day maybe we'll get a viewing party at the Cotton Pickin' Bar in East Bernard, and yall can come on over.

In the meantime, I'm stuck watching it at my house.

Don't kid yourselves...LA will test our back line and goalkeeping repeatedly on Saturday. We'll get our chances too, I'm sure, but I don't expect this to be a cakewalk. It will be interesting to see what happens to ERob and Onstad this week in regards to their respective suspension and injury.

    Beat me to it.

Good points as I think we'll tie this one too.

    I'll go for a 1-1 draw.

I'm going for a 9-9 draw. Becks will thread about 900 routine passes straight through the heart of our defense, and Donovan will convert 1% of the chances coming his way.

Meanwhile, Abel Xavier returning from suspension guarantees us 4 goals. Greg Vanney and Steve Cronin will sell another few each to earn us a valuable away point. Ching won't get off the mark though.

I was out camping in the hill country last weekend - and forgot to record the game. Grrr. Not disappointed about our result - but it does worry me going forward. We need to win early, because we're going to have a tough road come August.

No steak for pre-game this week, looks like fish is back on the menu!

Anybody care to chip in to send Rico a pair of Doc Martins?

    Rico,
We hope you enjoy the comfort and protection of these Doc Martins if you happen to kick some fish now and then. Please continue to get your stomp on!
    - FuBoy in HTown

Sadly, with the way we're playing, I'll be happy with another draw. :-(

Has anyone paid enough attention to have an idea what kind of formation the Gaylaxy are using these days? Don't they run everything through the right side with Donovan and Beckham? If so that means Davis and Barrett are really going to have to play them tough - which of course we can. Beckham's crossing ability also means we have to mark the guys in the middle well, which could be difficult if ERob is suspended for being headbutted.

Their back line is weak save Xavier and we should be able to score several against them.

I predict Caraccio gets a hat trick and takes sexy back from LA.

Watching Rico on Beckham anytime he slides to the middle will be entertainment enough.

This is the lineup LA has been trotting out:
(no Ruiz, no Xavier, and spin-the-bottle up-top)

    -----------Gordon---------------
    --------------Donovan------------
    Allen---Pires---Mcdonald---Beckham
    Randolph--Vanney---Franklin---Klein
    ------------Cronin--------------

we better not take anything for granted and we better treat every player on the other side like a freakin MVP.........we are the two time defending MLS Cup Champions and have yet to win a game in MLS in 2008........as far as Im concerned every player on the Galaxy is Beckham or Donovan to the Dynamo playing opposite them and our guys need to make a loud and clear statement that we arent giving up the Cup anytime soon.........

For those that haven't seen the other thread, ERob's suspended for 3 game so no Eddie for this one, although that really shouldn't come as a surprise.

From the sound of Glenn Davis' blog, Eddie might have had trouble playing anyway as his knee is very swollen. The good thing is, he played in Houston's most recent game so while he might not have even played this Saturday anyway (the injury report was never out), this game can count against his suspension. It sucks to lose your best defender, but at least it gives him 3 weeks to sort that knee out.

Funny, I was in the process of posting that but you beat me to it.

So, looks like our backline could look like:
    Barrett--Ianni--Boswell--Waibel(??)
Not sure if Craig's status is, so it's either him or Mulrooney in that spot. Also, what's Pat's status? It'd be nice to see him back in goal sometime soon..

Not sure about Holden either, but my guess would be that he'd come off the bench, so Mids:
    ------De Ro-----
    Davis--Clark--Mullan

I'd assume Ching and Caraccio up top.
