Either trying to start a bidding war, or Arsenal don’t want to sell until after the tour because they will missing a host of first team players and ESR is one of the few draws they have available.

maybe a little of both. if he is gonna feature on tour it could drive his value up.

Also, talkSPORT is claiming that we are looking for 25m GBP.

Having lost Olise and possibly losing Eze, Palace have a need for some creativity.

assuming they lose both and keep last year's formation (3-4-2-1) they will need 2 new wide attacking mids. don't see much on their roster currently that isa legit replacement for either.

Aubameyang leaving for Saudi Arabia could make Eddie to Marseille more likely

That's much more logical than the dim punditry (I thought) about Auba being a mentor for Eddie if he joins him there. Auba as a good mentor??!

That would be an insane return on Eddie considering besides the occasional purple patch for us he hasn't really done anything.
And regarding the FFP stuff that would let us go a bit bigger in the market.

Edu should offer to take him on loan with a option to buy.

With Greenwood to Marseille, I can't see them pursuing Nketiah any longer.

Ted keeps saying that the Merino transfer makes no sense and Fabian Ruiz is a better buy.

There are reports that Barca want him and that's where he'd rather go. Makes sense considering he bailed on living in England previously (albeit Newcastle not London)

4D chess by Edu, get Barca to move on Merino so they drop interest in Zubimendi, allowing Arsenal to swoop in :ROFLMAO:

Real 4D Chess is buying Frankie de Jong, at a discount, so Barcelona can afford Merino and Zubimendi. Arsenal get the progressive monster they need and Barcelona might even be able to afford Williams. Chasing/buying Spanish players that want to go to Barcelona eventually ends in disappointment.

I've had personal interest in both in the past.

Ruiz is a better passer but is much less physical and Xhaka level slow. He could possibly be viewed as a "young" Jorge but I've always seen him as more of an 8. There are actually some reasonable skillset comparisons to Xhaka. Major drawback compared to Merino would be his fee and likely salary demands.

Ruiz is a beast but buying anyone form psg is a hard task

he was great at Napoli also

I don’t rate merino, zuba is the one

Personally, I rate both Ruiz & Merino for different reasons but not sure either is right to compliment Rice & MO. Think either would be a legit option to allow for more rotation and tactical setup at both 6 & 8. Zuba isn't a sexy pick based on stats but I see why Arteta wants him and of the 3 he would be the best complimentary piece for our current starters.
