Loaned back to the NY Red Bulls for the rest of the season - no option to buy - RBNY have a huge hole at right back, they pushed for this loan. They’re a bit desperate - Oostende still rates him.
Selfishly, I hope he goes back to NYRB for good. From a national team perspective, I think he would have a better chance getting into a gold cup squad as maybe the best right back in the league. Among the Euro-based crowd, he is not really in the picture. It’s also better for MLS to have another good American player.

Selfishly this is a great move. For RBNY but honestly, for Duncan’s chances of getting called into USMNT camps. He will slide right into his old spot and have a few months to show out! Welcome back, Kyle!!!
The Loan has expired and he will head back to Oostende, but according to this there are talks to extend the loan. In theory, his first possible match would be 23 Dec.
Oostende plays a few exhibition matches over the upcoming days: 3 Dec vs PEC Zwolle. 7 Dec vs Lille 10 Dec vs Feyenoord If Duncan really is back at the club. This could be a place for him to make his debut. Edit - He is listed as part of the 1st team now. Uniform number 4.

Oostende has their Cronky Cup match on 20 Dec at Union St. Gilloise at 2pm EST. Duncan's status seems to be a little confused at this time. The traveling list is here - Notice no mention on Duncan. Maybe he can not play until the new year? But when the loan finishes, he should be able to play immediately.
