    Kyle Allen is currently playing in the New York Mets Rookie "A" Level Minor League team and is a pitcher.He was born in Lajes Field, Acores, Portugal and is currently 0 and 1.

    Sounds like his dad was an American stationed at the Acores military base.

    Yes..And he plays for my team the Rays.
    They got their name changed :)

    I know....I still call them the devil rays though.

    Its too bad they didnt improve their squad in the trade deadine today.

    Mark Teixiera is Portuguese...he is from the Anapolis, Maryland.

    So is Kevin Correira from the Giants , and former major leaguer Robin Ventura, and hall of famer Billy Martin & Lew Fonseca, and Davey Lopes 1st base coach, Washington Nationals, 2006

    they should make a Portuguese national team

    i think we could make a decent showing with acouple of those countries
