KCH's military service is still looming over his short-term future :(

Freiburg got the first goal in the 15th minute when the ball ricocheted off a defender to the unmarked Woo-yeong Jeong, who coolly dribbled the ball into the box and slotted it into the bottom corner. 1-0 Freiburg.

The Bundesliga side found their second goal in the 26th minute, again through Woo-yeong Jeong. Midfielder Kwon Chang-hoon started a counter and, as Nils Petersen drew defenders to himself, the South Korean sent it through to his compatriot, Jeong. Jeong then sharply maneuvered the ball to his right foot and found the bottom corner again. 2-0 Freiburg.

Another goal arrived just three minutes later when Nils Petersen found himself on the right flank and crossed the ball into Christian Guntner. Guntner fired it home for Freiburg’s third.

And a fourth goal came in the 51st minute. A long cross from the left found Nils Petersen, who finally added his name to the scoresheet.

Zabzre did pull a goal back in the 71st minute, but it was merely a consolation.

    End score: 4-1 Freiburg.

    Personal Thoughts on Woo-yeong Jeong:

He was fantastic. He scored two goals but it would be a disservice to his performance to boil it down to just those two goals. Jeong was everywhere, providing smart link up play, intelligent movement and a consistent threat. In the second half, he slowed down somewhat but it still was an amazing performance.

Jeong played at left striker for the entire 90 minutes.

JWY is impressive with his quick passing and he doesn't try and do too much. he doesn't hold onto the ball too long and seems to have chemistry with the other attackers. seems to be floating around in the center of the field, from CM to CF areas, finding space.

    Kwon on at 78'
both are on the field with score 3-1

holer and peterson are the forwards but they come deep while JWY stays high and leads the press. so he's kinda the lone striker but not quite.

jeong off for a defender, gulde at 87'
