There's no point in talking about anyone outside the squad only 2 weeks before the start of the tournament, let alone archive players from years gone by.

Long term, we do need to give a chance to some younger players, maybe as soon as the coming Asian cup. Haroon Kamara has been talked about a lot, and I personally like Abdulaziz al-Aryani as well (biased I know).

You never know what happens in Saudi NT since its controlled by the uncontrollable.

Don't be surprised if you see Mujahid Munea from Hilal or any other player to that matter just to please some section of fans.

I would pick both Abdul Rahman Ghamdi and Aryani for NT.. Am more biased though..

I think turki has calls on who plays and starts. Pizzi probably habdles training and sturucture.

While I think there is some interference from officials on who makes the squad, I don't think it goes as far as picking the teams. If he was, then he would impose star players (fan favourites), not people like Tayseer or al-Owais.

We'll find out right after the Peru match, but I expect:

Defenders: Mansoor Al-Harbi, Yasser Al-Shahrani, Mohammed Al-Breik, Saeed Al-Mowalad, Motaz Hawsawi, Osama Hawsawi, Omar Hawsawi, Mohammed Jahfali, Ali Al-Bulaihi.

Midfielders: Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Abdulmalek Al-Khaibri, Abdullah Otayf, Taiseer Al-Jassim, Houssain Al-Mogahwi, Salman Al-Faraj, Nawaf Al-Abed, Mohamed Kanno, Hattan Bahebri, Mohammed Al-Kwikbi, Salem Al-Dawsari, Yehya Al-Shehri.

Forwards: Fahad Al-Muwallad, Mohammad Al-Sahlawi, Muhannad Assiri.

I think taysir is turki and the inability to settle with a starting lineup before the italy game was turkey.

There's reports out there that Assaf Al-Qarny, Jahfali, Bahabri, Kwikby, And Abdullah Al Khaibari are out.

Would be dissapointed to see kwikby out though. He's got real swag to his game. Very decisive.

They should let go of Abed if hes not fit. Its a waste of space.

    I would love to see

    Dawsari Sahlawi Muwalad

    Mogwhi
    Faraj Otayf

    Sharani Omar Osama Bureik/Saeed

I dont understamd how Mogawhi isnt getting more burn. He's just as good as otayf.

Sorta off topic, but the national team's sponsors have been having fun with their viral videos.

KSA vs Peru today & we all hope to see a decent line up this time & not a experimental side..

    I would go with -

    Yasser Musalialem
    Mansour Harbi
    Moataz Hawsawi
    Osama Hawswi
    Yasser Shahrani
    Salman Faraj
    Abdullah Otayf
    Salem Dawsari
    Tayseer Jassem
    Yahya Sehri/Fahad Muwallad
    Fahd Muwallad/ Sahlawi.

Apparently, Peru has been undefeated for the past 13 matches.

Well... this lineup has been leaked:

    Abdullah Al-Mayuf
Mohammed Al-Breik, Motaz Hawsawi, Ali Al-Bulaihi, Mansoor Al-Harbi
    Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Salman Al-Faraj
    Salem Al-Dawsari, Houssain Al-Mogahwi, Nawaf Al-Abed
    Fahad Al-Muwallad

The leaked lineup for the Italy match was spot on, so who knows this time...

Why Ali Al-Bulaihi given more chances than Jahfli ?... Jahfli has more experience.
    Also Motaz Hawsawi is overrated.

This whole preperation thing has turki Al sheik printed all over it. He's controlling a large part of the managerial decision making.

This team needs to settle with a rotation already. Its flat out embarrasing.

    Muwalad
    Dawsari Jaseem Sheri/Kwikbi

    Otayf Faraj

    Harbi osama omar Sharani.

    Bureik is too clumsy.

Also get rid of Abed. He's very clearly not fit.

No reason for him to go to Russia. Its just the way it is.

Another embarrassing display ..3:0.. I can’t understand why some former players are still supporting the preparatory work so far..

Only good thing was watching Nawaf in the field .. Kwukaibi was good too.. Tayseer should start playing for NT rather than for himself..
