Manchester United nearly signed Toni Kroos in 2014. Then Moyes was fired, Real Madrid called and Kroos went. pic.twitter.com/GYyRrW9dYt— B/R Football (@brfootball) February 25, 2020
ex-RMCF player/youth coach & not-too-long ago fired Alvaro Benito: “Kroos didn't even warm up. You can send him to warm up with the idea he'll participate & suddenly City score two goals and you think it is more convenient to bring on more attacking players. Somethings going on." pic.twitter.com/OIqpBjIkU0— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) February 27, 2020
I actually do think Zidane might’ve been saving him for El Classico then. Only thing that makes sense even if I don’t agree with it.
I'm wondering if he got a small knock and they didn't want to risk it? Especially after seeing Hazard go down injured for the third time this season... I'm figuring he felt we could manage at home against City (we should have) but need Kroos for barca. Probably hoping by then Kroos would be more recovered? Anyways, in Manchester I better see Kroos, Valverde and Casemiro. Vinicius and two others in attack.
If he isn't starting Sunday we know Kroos is injured and these current reports are false. If Kroos is injured we as a club have had the worst luck the last 18 months.
Not really. We had great luck with injuries this season barring Hazard(and Asensio) . Especially considering the lack of rotations.
This German maestro is the only reason I have any hope of progressing through to the next round. I'm expecting him to come up big on the away leg. There is no way Zidane makes this "technical decision" twice.
I thought I saw a report in Spanish that he had a knock. I can see why ZZ didn't outright admit this and instead used the tactical excuse.
1234232841753550855 is not a valid tweet id This is just amazing. the way he waits, points to VJ for the run and then places that perfect pass...
Kroos man... did he put one foot wrong today? Is there a question that he is the best in the world when on form?

He got outpaced by Arthur (which must be some sort of record) leading to a 1v1. Not a bad game from him but I didn’t think he was exceptional today. He did as I’d expect for a world class midfielder.
Top 2 or 3 this season with his performance along with Casemiro and Fede. Can't be keeping this guy on the bench for our big games. At 25m (if I remember correctly), has to be one of our best signings ever along with CR7. Smartest midfielder in the world.
With 93.7% of his passes completed, that would be @ToniKroos. 👏#LaLigaSantander https://t.co/OlK4JDjeii— LALIGA English (@LaLigaEN) March 19, 2020 From open play, ToniKroos has completed 1418 out of 1513 passes. (93%)

'Waiving salary is like a donation in vain' - Real Madrid star Kroos against players taking pay cuts https://www.goal.com/en/news/waivin...madrid-star-kroos-/1xhhi1k8ilix61cfa2wm4e3h8b
He made a very good point that is simply beyond the apacity of sports media to discuss. His point was that a player taking a paycut doesn't help the people that need help, it simply helps the club and asked the question if it woul dbe better if players would donate money to those that need financial assistance during these hard times.
