Yeah aside from Muller and Neuer, he never played with any of them. It’s just another team

Kroos was never this involved emotionally in the CR7 era. He's taken on the leadership role very well.

He's not from Munich or Bavaria either so his attachment to the region is probably non existent

Would have been a more relevant question to Alaba.

I've also noticed that he's now become more passionate than what he was during the Ronaldo era. Maybe it's the leadership role that has caused this but even when Benz was around you could see how passionate he got during our last min goals.

He never had to be a leader. He could be chill with Ramos, Marcelo, Modric and Ronaldo on the field. Casemiro brought his own leadership role as the enforcer.

Same thing happened to Benz when Ronaldo left.

He's becoming more Spanish than German.

I feel he'd want to retire while still being on top. It's the most Kroos thing to do.

I really hope both Kroos and Modri stay for one more year. The younger players will really benefit from their experience and leadership. Stay for one more year with reduced minutes and then they can get a huge send-off next summer.

Yeah, I share the same concern. His comeback to the national team for the Euro at home, along with winning two titles this year and the upcoming Champions League title, is the high point he's aiming for to conclude his career. If he retires this summer, I think it will be disappointing. I still hope to see him play for at least another year.

Kroos criticizes match officials for offside call in Bayern-Madrid semifinal
"It's bad handling. You have to let play continue"

"If he raises the flag now, the referee assumes that his linesman sees it exactly that way and trusts him that it was probably three meters offside," said Kroos, who said he understood Bayern's frustrations. "The anger is justified because you just have to play the situation to the end, 100%."

I'm glad I agree with Kroos and not with Tomás Roncero on this one. But please, mouth-breathers, continue with the "cry more huehuehue" thing, show your señorío.

Kroos also felt Leipzig got screwed against us with the goal that was disallowed.

Listening to him i can't help but feel like his influence has to be very humbling for the team, somebody that keeps egos in check and points out bullshit when he sees it.

I think it's even more important to look at things after the dust settled and be more realistic once the nerves are gone.

I mean, if Kroos himself thought it was a valid topic to discuss on his most recent podcast, why should we not discuss it?

I and others have already agreed that it was a bad call/mistake to whistle the play dead

You are not going to change the mind of whoever was calling you a cry baby.

If Kroos decides to move on, his exceptional ability to deliver long sideways passes will be difficult to replace. Before him, we have Xabi Alonso. They both control the backfield liked a quarterback. Among all the young players, Camavinga stands out as our finest deep midfielder. He is a much better defensive player than both Kroos and Xabi Alonso. He is a better dribbler too. I even consider him a better playmaker in the offensive third of the field than the two. However, he needs to develop that sideway long passes.

We can't really tell how much of a long passer he has became by playing next to Kroos.

Kroos does not do anything flashy. He just sits in front of the CBs.... and moves the ball around.
