Soccer America published a list of player salaries that reveals the Burn with the lowest payroll in the league at $741,515. However, that didn't include a figure for Kreis, who said he agreed to a contract Monday at a lower salary than last season.

Come on GE let me tell you where are expectations are:

"Dallas Burn used one the major allocations to sign player X"

We can tell anybody on any of the 5 continents player X plays for Dallas and they respond "Damn, no Shite, X plays for Dallas!"

That is the bar that will get fans back to Cotton Bowl in 04.

Glad to have Kreis back - but we're still going to need help up front. Our best forward is going to be a 33 year old coming off knee surgery.

What are you getting at Chamo? Hurry up and sign an allocation at forward? Yeah I agree.

    I loved this part,

"Elliott said ... the team's second allocation, which the Burn was given for missing the playoffs, could be packaged in a trade."

I can't wait to see what kind of value we get for that. Allocations are a dime a dozen this year. Even Elliot implies it when he says it would be "packaged" as if no one would be interested in an allocation alone. One of them was even traded on Friday for a stinking #9 pick.

So think Kenny Arena for our allocation instead of Chad Marshall for our #1 pick. But as long as it's for the good of the league.

I'm OK with Kreis staying. He's got a year or two left in him, let's hope he can work his way back into the lineup. Actually, no, let's hope he's a 60th minute man for either Toni or EJ.

The allocation was not traded...so it's still Major Allocation to Dallas for Adu time, and that player has to cost 3 million, or he ain't good enough for this allocation. PERIOD.

No one actually believes we are getting a $3 Million dollar allocation do they?
