18 years old is way to young for him to be considered, keepers mature at around their mid 20's and even then their still considered "young". I'm really looking forward to Nam Tae-Hee and Koo Ja-Chul.
Yeah, i guess you're right, he's way too young. He would first need to play in some under 18's, 19's, 20's, etc tournaments and hopefully he will grow into a beast of a goalie. BTW doesnt Koo Ja Cheol play for Jeju Utd? and not FC Seoul or am i crazy?
thats a very nice list. only if we can have some defenders up there. plus the age difference between them and LCY and KSY is very low.
Here are my prospects for the KNT : Immediate ones : Yoo Byung Soo (he definitely should play the asian cup) Gu Ja Cheol (could have done better than Kim Jung Woo) Kim Young Hoo (a decent striker ?) Yoon Suk Young , the chunnam defender has a flair for assists Lee Sang Hyup, (a left footed player, but don't know if he would prove better than Yeom) Kim Hyung Bum (under condition that he comes back from injury) Kim Dong Chan Yoon Bitgaram (isn't he doing well for his first season) Song Jin Hyung (if he plays well in french Ligue 2) Park Joo Ho (not too sure) Kim Do Heon ahahah Longer term ones: Seo Jung Jin Ji Dong won Lim Jong Eun Oh Jae Seok Lee Jong Ho Moon Ki Han Park Hye Sung (russia, Tomsk) Son Heung Min Cho Young Cheol Choi Jung Han (scoring quite often in J-league) Kim Min Woo , a normally very offensive right back Moon Ki Han Lim Jong Eun Lee Beom Young Suk Hyun Jun Nam Tae Hee Kim Won Sik Lee Yong Jae Park Chul Ho Shin In Seob (Adelaide United) Jeong Dong Ho (Nagoya)
When those guys are gonna be like 18-20, they're gonna play in those top A teams, or come back to K-league with a lot of experience and massive knowledge. Because they were trained by the cream of the cream. They're gonna bring their knowledge to K-league or prosper in high ranked clubs, both are benefits for Kfootball. We may only see the results in 10 or 15 years, i'm afraid so, but it is bright, and when those young guns are gonna play for Korea, they're gonna kick asses. Mark my words.
I hope for the people who put the prospects to put the position, age, club and etc. It'll help people like me to help understand better the future although it looks pretty good. Thanks a lot
One things for sure... our team is going to have a lot of depth in 2018. 2014 is going to be too early for our youngsters. By the time its 2018 LCY, KSY and PCY will become veterans
Barcelona are wrapping up the signing of South Korean whizkid Park Sheng Ho. The 13-year-old is regarded as one of the most promising prospects in world football, with Europe's biggest clubs falling over themselves to secure his signature. Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid were always favourites to land his services, with it quickly becoming a two-way tussle between the arch-enemies. Barca appear to have prevailed in that particular battle, with the Asian ace opting for Camp Nou over Santiago Bernabeu. Park, who has been dubbed 'the Korean Messi', first caught the eye of European scouts during a youth tournament in 2009. It was apparent that he possessed great ability and could be a potential star of the future. His promise had also been noted in his homeland, with reports suggesting sportswear giants Nike have already signed him up. Park is, however, now set to join up with the Barca academy, having impressed the club's coaches during a recent visit to Catalunya.
If he makes the first team, I'm sure he'll be able to pick what is written on the back of his jersey, so does it really matter? God, I want to see this kid play for Barca one day!
Just wondering if there's any future stars that ppl can see becoming the next Park Ji Sung. Park Ji Sung's stamina, work ethic and skill is what got him to Manchester United. Can anyone point out a young star that possess this kinda of tenacity?
LCY. Most importantly, he has the balls of steel required to perform at the top level. We saw this against Argentina when he was the only one who didn't shrink at the opposition. I think this kid (he's only 21!) has such a bright future ahead of him.
Dude, he wasn't born there. He went there at like 12 years old. I'm pretty sure he associates himself with Korea.
