as much as i love the attention he's getting, i'm always wary of young prospects getting hyped up like this. we can all see that his personality is of a different mold than that of PCY so i hope my concerns are unwarranted.

i'm a strong believer that adversity is needed to instill the perseverance and hard work for a young player to fully reach his potential. that's my only concern with LSW. the footballing world has witnessed countless prospects like LSW, and other of la masia's brightest, that were wunderkids but never reached their expected potential.

Does appear to be. Would also explain why Matz' doppleganger believes he'd be U19 / U23 Material.

Paik is on loan at Cornella Juvenil C, so he's still technically on Barça Juvenil B.

Why would youth academies loan out a player they are developing? Is it because he can't cut it with Barca Juvie B?

Yea, I get that. Just can't figure out what has happened to him since week 3 of the season. He hasn't featured or even made the bench ever since... Wondering if it is injury or he has returned to Juvie B for a tournament I don't have a clue about.

Because he's banned from playing with Barça by FIFA.

Cornella is part of the Catalan Football Federation and is not regulated by FIFA. Therefore, he can play in the regular league games. If he stayed at Juvenil B with Barça, he is only eligible to play in friendlies and international cup matches, like the one Cadete A played in Venezuela. At this stage in his career, he needs regular minutes. The transfer is unusual at this age, but not unheard of. He and the club prolly agreed it was a good choice, for now. He'll be 18 soon enough.

I just looked now and tbh, I think this is sloppy fact checking, I have a nagging suspicion that is supposed to be Lee and Jang -_-

    EDITED

OOps, no, now I see what you meant. Hum, not really sure. I can ask around, but my sources have no news on Paik, Lee or Jang. The only explanation I have regarding Paik not being on the bench for Cornella is he's injured. Otherwise, I haven't got anything for you.

This thread just cracks me up... Already a superstar, challenging Korean media and public, meltdown... Can this thread's name be changed to 'fantasy thread' or 김치국 마시기 thread?
