Cha Du-ri improved though, if you watched how he played hes really improved on thinking what to do with the ball, unlike the world cup when he just ran with the ball with no real purpose or thought of what he would like to do, but still i guess hes still a liability to the Nationial team just like Choi Young soo, btw wtf happen to Choi Young Soo, havent heard of him for a long time

cha du ri definitely deserves a spot..

sure he coldnt assist and score many goals in germany but he played and started for every single game and improved hella..

    stats dont say everything..

hes one of the korea's most fastest and strongest wingers..

He just need more opps. Like most strikers, he's dependent on his mids to give him good crosses and deliveries (shrug). Can he finish, is the question I have for him.... Only seen him play twice. Not much service to him...

1 goal and 4 assists is his stat for this season..

i still think that he should score lil bit more often but considering that hes a wing forward, he doesnt need to score a lot of goals..

    wing forward and a striker..

    theres a pretty big difference..

Cha Doo Ri cost us the Match against Germany in WC, okay so it wouldn't have been a big difference if he got the start or not but he was just running with the ball and looked clueless to what to do in that match...i always thought he was overrated along with Ahn during the WC when the media paid a lot of attention on these guys...

But hell, even Cha can play well against the opponents we're playing in Asia cup, UAE, Jordan and Kuwait...what a joke...

even Hwang Sun Hong would score +3 goals against teams like maldive and lesser teams.
we dont see that happening with our current squad.

is it the lack of skills of lack of heart?

or is that after 2002 we over rated our team and the players?

Park Ji-sung is on the list. I take it he's not playing on the Olympic team.

If I was Bon Frere, this would be my pick and a damn good one at that too. Actually so good enough that this team would be enough to win this damn tourney and shut those whiney Asian nations up for good.

this is very depressing... don't we have anyone better?

i think cho byung guk should start for the NT. although i haven't seen him play too much. he scored/assisted so many important goals off his headers too.

My interest and excitement for this Asian Cup has decreased by tremendously as soon as KFA announced it will focus more on the Olympics a couple of weeks ago. It's most likely three over-aged players plus Lee CS and Park JS either won't play or badly conditioned for Asian Cup.
