Well, SARS chants will just make us look like backwater retards that come out of our shanties on the Newark River ( seeing as how the illness originated in Hong Kong, 1,000's of miles from Korea, and could soon be here dropping people like flies) for a Saturday Night circle jerk.

And I ain't Mutha Teresa neither, but we can use some REAL WIT on Saturday. The thought of 150 ESC'ers lampooning Ahn's speedskater dance number from the USA-Korea match to a semi-synchronized latin/marshal drum beat would be falling down funny and every Korean in the house would GET IT.

Let's just hope Clint doesn't see us and go copy cat, because we saw him doing the hip-hop safety dance back in Galaxy gold-n-teal circa '97. One of the most horrific sights in MLS history.

on mainstreet in flushing, queens they have posters up promoting the metro/gals game. i presume thats the korean heritage night.

for the crew home opener there was a section of about 300 koreans...... cheering for the gals. expect the same.

It would be cool if they had dried squid and kimbap like at the World Cup. Nothing like beer and dried squid at a game...

Does anyone see the irony that the Metro have created Korean night to attract fans who will cheer for ...

    Hong and the Galaxy?

Not at all. C'mon Paul, according to Nick the Koreans will be amazed by Giants Stadium, both being and getting there, the lovely field, and not too mention the concessions. They will fall in love with the Metro and come back week after week.
