Yeah, Cho Dong-Hyun did a great job at the last U-20 World Cup. But I guess it could be a launching pad for Hong Myung-Bo's coaching career. He might be a good coach for KNT one day.

I saw this Ahn Jung-Hwan compliation. It really makes me think how good he could have been if he worked a little harder.

Ahn Jung-Hwan was released by Busan recently, and he was then linked to a move to the MLS but it looks like no clubs are interested, so he might be forced into early retirement like Ko Jong-Soo if he doesn't take an offer soon. He hasn't been with the KNT in a while either, but I'm hoping he'll be used as a supersub at the 2010 World Cup one last time.

the thing is, i think ahn jung hwn should have just stayed in Japan and Lee Chun Soo should have just stayed in Korea. I'm not really sure if the issue is work ethic. some people just adjust poorly in foreign surroundings.

Yeah, the J-League was the best fit for Ahn. But he does have a reputation of not being a hardworker. Other than his early years with Busan and his career in the J-League, he's never played particularly well for his club, but he always seems to save his best games for world cups, where it matters most. Also, stamina is probably his main weakness, which is why he's usually a sub for the KNT. He's been compared to the lazy genius kid that slacks off during the semester but then crams right before the final exams and aces them.

I'm not sure why Lee Chun-Soo hasn't had any success in Europe though. He has always been rather inconsistent throughout his career. He's been cut from Suwon, I believe, and he's in no form to be on the KNT anytime soon either.

I can't believe that LWJ weighed 86kg in 2002 when he weighs 90kg now. 76, maybe, but just 4kg lighter?

I had a chance to talk to him briefly during the PPC. He doesn't sound too bright, tbh.

He's modest and waiting to make the right choice, and i think thats important.

We have a good player here, lets not lose him.
Lets imagine he signs in a big club, he's gonna break his teeths and will be mentally ********ed up for the rest of his career.

All i hope for him, is to become the best korean striker ever.
