Goldmember has said that he won't be bringing in any new faces to the national team squad for the Maldives game, so it's going to be up to the guys who have stuttered through the campaign so far to get them there. http://times.hankooki.com/lpage/sports/200411/kt2004110116255611650.htm A few changes must be on the cards for the final round of qualifying though so the guys had better get their fingers out and absolutely batter the Maldives...
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... hmm lets just hope goldmember is right on this one or he can kiss his ass goodbye
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... we're playing in seoul. More incentive for Maldives to play their asses off.
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... Man, I haven't laughed so hard in a while. Bonfrere's from Hoooooolland. Is't he weird?
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... Let's hope the media picks up the name Goldmember and it just sticks to him!
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... I guess the Korean climate has done wonders for his skin color, hehe
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... Lee Eul Young is not playing this match. The guy with 5 assists in the qualifiers isn't playing. What the hell?!?!
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... Really?!? Looks to me like he's ready to peel some skin and mogo!
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... his not playing?! wtf!! we need to beat the shorter in size maldives, through aerial attacks....and someone who can cross some good balls who is lee eul yong!! and also on corners lee eul yong is the best taker...also on freekicks....
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... I wonder if Choi Yong-Soo will make a comeback for the final qualifiers...
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... He'll make his comeback if someone gives me a box of tranquilizers.
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... Didn't he retire from National team? If so, he won't be returning. Also, he has been playing in J-2 league. Would he be still sharp enough to play in tough competition?
Re: No changes for the Maldives game... Apparently he never really retired from the NT - he did say he's willing to make way for the younger generation, but it was the media who declared it like a foregone conclusion. And recently he let it be known that he will gladly rejoin the team if he gets the call-up again. I think he's only 31 or 32 now, and although he's been playing in J2 he used to score stacks of goals against other Asian sides - maybe he could be used as a joker, hm.
