Son Heung-min made a goal at the 10th minute!

I haven't heard our supporters be this loud in a long time.

And Kim Min-jae stops Colombia's attacks very well.

So weird seeing Klinsmann in KNT garb. How did we play overall? Seems like Colombia kicked into gear in the 2nd half or did we just shit the bed?

Good news: Son has not withered away.
Bad news: the team is mentally fragile.

Rather have Son Jun Ho than Jung Woo Young, didn’t track back fast enough for Columbia’s 1st goal. Also moments where he would of got dispossessed and got away with it by the skin of his teeth, which happens more than I want to see. Wish Paik Seung Ho was like 3 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier

As expected, Columbia was dirty as fk again. Why do they always behave like that? In all 3 recent matches we had with them, they tried to start a fight for no reason. Idiots.

First half was good, the second half was disappointing. Surprisingly, Klinsmann/Herzog's tactics worked out well up until the point it fell apart the moment our players took their feet off the pedal in the second half. We should've won but we let it slip away.

Overall our back 4 was disappointing, Kim Min-jae and Lee Ki-je fcuked up while Kim Young-gwon at least tried to cover the back line, but due to age he can't keep up with pace anymore. Kim Min-jae played like he was trying to impress a hot chuck rather than focusing on playing good.

Son was fire with his two goals, and I'm still baffled at why Kane keeps taking free kicks instead of Son. A rather nervous game for Oh Hyeon-gyu but he has shown good speed and physicality kinda like Drogba. Lee Kang-in helpful as usual.

Jeong Woo-young Jr however shouldn't be a starter, imo he's more of a situational player and should only be used depending on who we face and the type of formation we'll be using. Lee Kang-in should be starting instead, and once Hong Hyun-seok comes into play, we cannot waste any more time when we need to be incorporating those two. I'd rather have Na Sang-ho and Lee Seung-woo over Jeong Woo-young.

Cho Gue-sung was shit, and thank goodness Hwang Ui-jo didn't play.

It was an entertaining match regardless of outcome, and I'll gladly take the draw over a loss any day. It's Klinsmann's first game in charge so can't really fault him, he did his best and I'm looking forward to the Uruguay match.

I've been saying this well before the WC that the likes of Son Jun-ho and Paik Seung-ho should be replacing Jung Woo-young Sr. Granted, Jung Woo-young fit well into Bento's system, he clearly does not under Klinsmann as he's simply too slow and lacks the work ethics that Klinsmann highly demands of.

Exactly. Wish Korea produces a CDM like it does attacking players, hoping Klinsmann find one in any of the K leagues.

Kids all want to emulate attackers. Except in Denmark and Colombia/Uruguay/Chile. There, hard tackling is a matter of pride. But yeah, kingdom for a CDM.

The days of Kim Nam-il, prime Skeletor are long gone, even the late Yoo Sang-chul was an all around great multplayer more than capable enough to play at that position. Ki was also good in that position, but he's too old now to return to the knt.

We haven't produced a solid dm since and we did have potential prospects, but neither of them got tested or even if they did, they simply fell off the chart or wasn't good enough. As of now, we only got Son Jun-ho and Paik Seung-ho to rely on until someone from the youth teams starts stepping up to the plate.
