The Brazilian team arrived early in order to adjust to the different time zone and enjoy Korea.

    Neymar is playing.

Hiddink, Van der Sar, and President Yoon are in the stadium, too.

If son can't score regularly in national team then it's a waste of time.

KSG - shite. Neymar read him like a book. Twice.
KYK - shite. Wtf was that to concede such a reckless foul. Did have some decent defensive moments, to be fair.
LY/HC - double shite. We've been in desperate need for competent fullbacks for a while now...
JWY (DM) - shite. Is he really the best DM we have? Shotty tackles, poor ball retention and distribution.
PSH - Reliable ball retention and distribution, but seemed mostly invisible.
HIB - His blunder cost us a goal, but saw some touches of brilliance, hope he learns from this.
SHM - Invisible the whole game. Not his fault though. The Bento's game plan did not play to his strengths.
HHC - His physique aside, he has the lowest football IQ in the entire roster.
JWY (FW) - Kid's quick. Posed some threat, with the limited time he was on.
HUJ - I'm just happy we finally have a legit #9.

Our back four was lackluster and KMJ's absence was definitely felt, and we gave away two silly PKs. Brazil cut through our defense like a hot knife cutting through butter. Neymar/Richarlison/Paqueta/Raphinha effortlessly weaved in-and-out through our back line. It was extremely frustrating to see our players resort to silly fouls in the second half.

Bento's slow-buildup/passing tactics obviously did not work against a world-class opponent, and Son was invisible the whole game as a result.
With the exception of our buildup to the goal, our passing play was visibly timid; felt like our DF/MF were playing a game of hot-potato to see how many touches they can accrue on our own half. What was with the hesitancy? There were moments in the game where we could've initiated the attack, while our forwards were in position. Instead, they thoughtlessly passed the ball back, allowing the Brazilian players to track back or reposition, and ultimately losing possession near our box on several occasions. In a friendly match like today, I'd rather us lose possession while initiating the attack, as opposed to losing it near our box for the sake of keeping possession.
We'll likely run into opponents in the WC that will press much harder than Brazil did today. I really hope Bento has an answer to that, otherwise we're ********ed.

On the upside, I did see some brief sparks of creativity when we were on the attack. We had our moments where we had our opponents standing on their heels. But fundamentally, this passing-style we've adopted feels slow and unpolished. Hopefully Bento & co. gained a few good takeaways from today's match.

As for our defense... I've no words.

If this isn't a wake up call to our team, we'll going to have 1pt at most in the World Cup.

Shocking defense. We don't know how to absorb pressure at all. They look scared and have no composure.

JWY, again, proved how shitty he is.
    1. almost conceded after he gave the ball away in our own 3rd. Almost broke my monitor when I saw him 따봉-ing right after. upload_2022-6-2_15-24-43.png
    2. passes to our players who are already surrounded in our own 3rd. We almost conceded again when this retard passed to BSH who was already surrounded by 2-3 Brazilian players.
    3. almost conceded again when he slipped + fell + gave the ball away upload_2022-6-2_15-24-59.png
    4. holds the ball for too long for no reason and gives the ball away. At one point, I thought he was frozen or something and Brazil countered and we almost conceded again (Hit the post)
    5. shitty passes as usual. 0% success rate while countering
    6. 0 vision
    7. 0 pressure
Why the ******** are we starting him every game? We seriously don't have any replacements? I do not see any strengths in this guy. He fks up big time every single game. Reminds me of JHS. This guy is worse, TBH.

I knew we were gonna lose, but our performance was pathetic. Defense was garbage without KMJ as expected. Non-existent.

We are probably the easiest team to get a PK against. How many PKs have we given in the past matches against non-Asian team?

Also, I keep saying this, but I do not understand why we keep going for possession when none of these players know how to pass.

And.. these players do not know how to use Son at all. He kept running behind the defenders and no one had good vision to see him.

I personally don't have high hopes for this WC.

what i don't get is since our defense is shitty, might as well go 3-4-3.
